Harrison Ford’s turn as as archaeologist-adventurer Indiana Jones helped solidify his rising star and adventure hero status as he outwits, out-whips, and out runs a host of nasty adversaries in a race to find the Ark of the Covenant before it falls into the hands of the Nazis.
