It was 79 degrees today –79! Summer was clearly sending a little salvo our way but that’s ok because over here at Red Hook Flicks, we’ve had Summer in our sights for quite some time. In fact, the line up for this year’s movies on the pier has been selected and we can’t wait to share them with you at our annual fundraiser! Come out and join us and our amazing sponsors this Sunday, May 18 at 5 p.m. at Red Hook Bait and Tackle. There’ll be food from our sponsors and we’ll unveil this summer’s slate of films. Plus there will be special screenings and a raffle for a prize package from Brooklyn Slate.
And perhaps MOST importantly, you get to vote on this season’s NEIGHBORHOOD CHOICE film! Last year you selected Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead. What will it be this year? Well, that’s up to you. $1 per vote. As always, ballot stuffing is highly encouraged!
$10 suggested donation … but all are welcome regardless of ability to pay.
